Study Guides
Cobb County’s web site has a good list of Study Guides and Resources here
Textbook:
-
We use Paul Hewitt’s Conceptual Physics textbook.
- His textbook is very easy to read. It doesn’t talk down to the reader.
- The chapters are full of pictures, cartoons and diagrams - not just to fill up space, but they really help with understanding the concepts.
- Each chapter section is very short.
- At the end of every chapter there is a section called Concept Summaries. Read those a couple of times during the chapter and once again just before the test. They’re great!
